Dev Harness Walkthrough

Type: dev-loop example

Source of truth:

This harness is the fastest way to understand how the current public SDK fits together in practice.

What It Demonstrates

  • connect and bootstrap dev tables
  • load schema and metadata
  • append indexed log rows
  • append Arrow rows and direct Arrow records
  • fetch and decode Arrow log batches
  • upsert, lookup, partially update, and delete primary-key rows

Why This Page Matters

This is not the canonical support contract for every public claim, but it is the best day-to-day usage example for contributors and evaluators who want to see realistic helper-first flows.

Reading Strategy

Use the dev harness as the narrative backbone for:

  1. connection and metadata loading
  2. log-table writes
  3. Arrow flows
  4. primary-key workflows
